It seems some Beliebers on twitter are misbehaving, but perhaps that may be an understatement. After the photos of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez swapping spit circulated the internet over the past few days, some Bieber fans have become so blinded by lust and love that they have taken to twitter to publicly threaten the 18 year-old former star of Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place. And they're not just threats, they're actually death threats, with some Belibers making twitter pages dedicated to @KillSelenaGomez because of her recent romantic rendezvous with the pop star.
Here are just a few tweets that have threatened Gomez in the past few hours:
"Selena gomez i will fuckin kill u if u fuckin break justin biebers heart im so serious."
"RT [Re-tweet] if you wanna kill selena gomez"
"Roses are red, violets are blue. If selena gomez hurts @justinbieber, I will kill you."
To say that some of the Bieber fans are blowing this relationship news out of proportion would be an understatement as well, but if threats escalate any further, those seemingly harmless tweets could initiate a criminal investigation as making criminal threats over the internet is a federal crime.
In other Bieber news, the 16 year-old has been featured on the cover of the February issue of Vanity Fair, smothered with smooch marks and an unidentified hand tugging at his tie. I'm not saying who that hand may be, but let's hope for Selena Gomez's sake that she has an alibi for the date of his Vanity Fair photo shoot.
