Kanye West joins Jane's Addiction and The Killers to headline the first ever Lollapalooza festival in Chile. The Chicago-based music festival will take place on April 2nd and 3rd and will be the festival's first overseas endeavor.

When speaking about the upcoming festival, Lollapalooza founder and Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell said, "Our ambition is to plant a very strong seed in Chile. One that will grow over the years, and provide Santiago with an event for the ages."
The festival looks like it will be exciting and the idea of carrying the prestige of Lollapalooza to South America is an awesome and unexpected turn for the event. Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Arcade Fire headlined the event during the Chicago event last August. Too bad I won't be able to make the 8,000 mile journey to Santiago.
