It appears the music video for The Game's "Red Nation" has been banned on MTV and BET. Tweeting the drama today, the LA-based emcee said, "Thank you BET & MTV for banning my #Rednation video. Sincerely, @thegame." This comes after the rapper told Billboard last week that his video for the Lil Wayne assisted that the video is "pandemonium" and described it "like 'Mad Max' mixed with Nas' 'One Mic' video, where there's riots going on in the background."
The reasoning behind the video ban is unknown at this point, but his "One Blood" video was originally banned before being permitted for television plays after its popularity over the internet. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and exactly what the video looks like. Check out the tweets below:
