Beyonce's "I Am" Best Selling Music DVD of 2010

Beyonce wants you to know that there is no medium she cannot dominate. After scoring a few number one films, number one albums, and number one songs, the 29 year-old can add DVDs to that list. According to Columbia Records, Beyonce's "I Am... World Tour" has earned the title of best selling music DVD of 2010, even though its release date was November 24th.

The DVD/Soundtrack edition has held onto the number one position on the Nielsen SoundScan Music DVD chart since its release and covers Beyonce's concert dates around the world. It has been certified platinum in both the United States and Brazil, while has earned a gold certification in France, Australia and Canada, amongst others. 

Even during her so-called off years, Beyonce is still pulling in those seven-to-eight digit paychecks. I guess there's good reason for why Jay-Z has been bragging about his wife's money in his new track. Check the press release below:

"Lensed during the artist's record-breaking international concert tour, the deluxe DVD/Soundtrack edition was released on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 and still holds the #1 position on Nielsen SoundScan Music DVD chart. In Brazil, where Beyonce played to massive audiences, including 60,000 in Sao Paulo, last winter, the DVD has been certified platinum.  It is also certified Platinum in the UK and is certified gold in six countries including France, Australia and Canada," Music World/Columbia reports. "The concert film, with its never-before-seen, intimate footage of the star around the world, played on big screens in select cities around the country on November 18, 2010, the two-year anniversary of the release of the multi-platinum I AM...SASHA FIERCE album, which has sold more than six million copies and 15 million digital singles worldwide, while earning a record-breaking six Grammy Awards, the most ever for a female artist in a single year, in 2010."
