The Big 4 To Play Only ONE U.S. Date

Although anticipation was searing hot last night, some disappointment has come to those awaiting a North American tour extension for the Big 4, the heavy metal band lineup that has toured Europe for the past year. It appears Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax, all of whom comprise the Big 4, will only be making a one date appearance in the states at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calfornia, the venue most known for their annual Coachella Festival.

While it is still encouraging to see the mega lineup playing a date in the U.S., the unbelievable news of the super tour making its way to America yesterday was tempered by the lonesome one tour date in America. This could be a huge revenue-maker in the states as it was in Europe, with major arenas across the country selling out in record time. If you're from the West Coast, enjoy. I guess I'll just have to stick to poor quality YouTube clips of the concert in the meantime.
