Jessie J is the artist of the moment in the UK, building upon the successes she achieved thus far in her burgeoning career. She was crowned the winner of BBC Sound of 2011 and has had a number two charting single with "Do It Like A Dude." In addition, mid-week charts have the singer's new song "Price Tag" with B.o.B making her first trip to the top of the singles chart. With all the interest surrounding the singer's music, her new album has experienced the most encouraging gesture by a label imaginable: a pushed-up release date.
Who You Are, which has been described as having the best elements of soul, pop and blues, has been pushed up from a March 28th release date to a February 28th date. With such a strong sign of support, it will likely see a very high and perhaps number one debut its first week. In other Jessie J news, the single cover for "Casualty of Love" was released exclusively to Rap-Up.com, while Keri Hilson and Nicki Minaj have praised the singer. Hilson has expressed interesting in having the "Do It Like A Dude" singer join her on tour, while Minaj has said that she loves the singer's music and style.
