Janet Jackson's "Number Ones" Tour Adds More Dates

Although her last album struggled in the sales department, where Janet Jackson really shines is and has always been on the stage. Thus it is no surprise that her Number Ones Tour has sold out in minutes, requiring the singer and her management to add more date for the performer's upcoming tour.

Her April 14th show Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles sold out in less than 10 minutes, requiring two more dates to be added, which have sold out as well. Her sold out show at the Santa Barbara Bowl had 96% of the seats sold in presales alone, and sold out minutes after sales officially began. Sold out shows in New York, Chicago, Toronto and Philadelphia have led to new dates, while her international venues have encountered a similar response.

When speaking about her tour, the "Feedback" singer said, "These concerts are not about special effects. This is a love affair between me and those of you who have supported me and my work for all these years. I'll be singing and dancing from my heart. The music will all be songs that you've made number ones for me."

It is awesome to see Janet in high demand. Being one of the most energetic and hard-working singers and performers of our age, her talent is more than worthy of the incredible response her tour has received. Although the venues are smaller than those during her Rock Witchu Tour, the record demand for her new tour is proof she could have had larger venues and it still would've sold well.
